Job Summary
Administer evaluations and examinations to diagnose and develop treatment plans for residents. Refer clients to additional medical or educational services as needed. Monitor resident progress and adjust treatments accordingly while providing communication instruction to residents with limited English proficiency. Record information on initial evaluations, treatment, progress, and discharge. Observe and assess progress to prepare detailed reports. Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards. Requires a graduate of an accredited SLP Program and a current New York State SLP License. Experience in long-term care settings is preferred.
