Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary
Provide evaluation and treatment of residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility, developing personalized plans to improve speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia; collaborate with an interdisciplinary team; document progress in EMR; participate in care plan meetings and family conferences; supervise SLPAs if applicable; report to the Director of Rehabilitation; NJ licensure required (or eligible); CCC-SLP preferred with CF welcome; strong communication and compassionate patient-centered care in a team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of New Jersey (or eligible to obtain)
- New grads welcome with mentorship and training
- Previous experience in SNF, long-term care, or geriatrics is a plus
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply
