Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing evaluation and treatment to patients with communication/Swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include directing and supervising assistants and rehab staff, developing treatment plans and delivering therapy per licensure and payer guidelines, documenting evaluations and progress notes, communicating patient status to families/caregivers, contributing to QA and department development, and educating staff and payers on intervention benefits. Requires ongoing professional development, compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining state licensure and CPR/BLS. Benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and CE reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
- Must maintain an active CPR/BLS during employment
- Able to practice unencumbered
