Job Summary
Perform home visits as a Speech Language Pathologist to adult and geriatric clients in Independent and Assisted Living communities in Central/Eastern Montgomery County. Conduct evaluations, diagnose and provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Develop and revise treatment plans based on evaluations and physician orders; participate in multidisciplinary care plans; educate patients and families to promote health and independent living. Document observations and interventions in EMR on a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Requires PA SLP license and CCC-SLP or equivalent certification path; experience with EMR preferred. Opportunities available as full-time, part-time, or per diem in a BAYADA home health field setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current PA license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or equivalent educational/work experience as indicated for certification
