Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for school-based role. Responsibilities include conducting speech, language, and communication assessments; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; delivering direct SLP services in individual, small-group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication needs; collaborating with teachers, parents, and SPE teams; maintaining records per ODE/IDEA; participating in IEP meetings and evaluations; training staff on speech-language strategies and accommodations; opportunities for contract extension or conversion to permanent positions; paid time off and holidays; reimbursement for classroom supplies and professional development. Master’s degree in SLP, state licensure and credentials required; CCC-SLP preferred; fingerprint clearance. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License for SLPs (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
