Job Summary
Direct speech-language pathology services in school settings, including assessments, development and implementation of IEPs and therapy plans, one-on-one and group therapy, collaboration with teachers and families, and participation in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. Maintain documentation per MDE and IDEA guidelines; train staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations; opportunities for contract extension or conversion to permanent roles; generous benefits including paid time off, holidays, and professional-development reimbursements.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (issued by the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology)
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
