Job Summary
Part-time Speech Language Pathologist to support preschool-age children from Aug 26 to Oct 12. Responsibilities include conducting speech, language, and communication assessments; developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans; delivering direct speech-language services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, and social communication challenges; collaborating with teachers, parents, and special education teams; maintaining accurate records per Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA guidelines; participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions; training and supporting teachers and staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations. Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Ohio licensure (Ohio Board of SLP and Audiology, and ODE Pupil Services License for SLPs), CCC-SLP preferred, and fingerprint clearance. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
- Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License for SLPs (required for school-based positions)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
