Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for school-year assignment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs; developing and implementing IEPs; providing direct therapy in individual, small group, and classroom settings; addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language comprehension and expression, and social communication; collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams; maintaining records in compliance with ISBE and IDEA guidelines; participating in IEP meetings and evaluations; and educating staff and parents on strategies to enhance communication. Requirements include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, IDFPR license, ISBE PEL with SLP endorsement, and fingerprint clearance.
