Job Summary
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in school settings, conduct assessments to evaluate student needs, develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans, address articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication challenges, collaborate with teachers and parents, document therapy sessions and progress per SCDE/IDEA regulations, participate in IEP meetings and evaluations, and train staff on speech-language strategies and classroom accommodations
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Educator Certificate with appropriate Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
