Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) needed for the school year to manage a caseload of about 40 students across two locations (K-21). Provide speech and language therapy in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings. Conduct evaluations to identify disorders; develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Maintain accurate records of services and student progress; provide consultation and training to staff on communication strategies and accommodations. Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on progress and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. Requires Master’s in SLP, active Maryland SLP license, MSDE certification; CCC-SLP preferred; fingerprint clearance and background check also required. Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required
