Job Summary
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to evaluate student needs and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings while addressing articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication challenges. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to support student progress, document sessions in compliance with SCDE and IDEA regulations, and participate in IEP meetings. Train and support staff on speech-language strategies. Hourly rate ranges from $45.00 to $61.00 with up to 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) Educator Certificate with appropriate Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
- Fingerprint clearance
- Background check
