Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) participates in the rehabilitation of patients with speech, language, and hearing disorders, supervising the Communication Disorders Service Department. Responsibilities include evaluating and planning therapy programs, establishing treatment goals, and conducting therapy as approved by the referring physician. The role requires participation in in-service training for HomeCare personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed in the state or states of work
