Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations, assess disorders including dysphagia, and develop individualized plans of care with measurable goals. Provide skilled therapeutic interventions for communication, cognition, and swallowing safety while monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment based on clinical response. Support patients and families with behavioral adaptations, lead discharge planning, and communicate findings to physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with state standards of practice in a collaborative Skilled Nursing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active, and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of California
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ongoing compliance with continuing education requirements established by the Arizona Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board
  • Experience in a skilled nursing, post-acute, hospital, or related medical setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment
  • Capacity to lead by example
  • Composure and professionalism in dynamic, fast-paced clinical environments
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Capacity to make independent clinical decisions
