Job Summary
Design and execute individualized rehabilitation plans to help patients communicate, swallow, and remediate speech and swallowing disorders. Deliver direct therapy sessions while training patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals for comprehensive care and adapt to diverse patient needs across skilled nursing, home-based, and outpatient settings. Manage daily operational tasks including equipment maintenance and reporting to meetings. Join a team focused on restoring hope for older adults and children through personalized therapy services.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
