Job Summary
School-based Speech Language Pathologist to serve students aged 3-21 across the Greater Chicago area, implementing treatment plans with measurable outcomes aligned to IEPs, collaborating with teachers and other professionals, assessing and documenting progress, and preparing annual review reports. Roles include attending school-related meetings (IEPs, annual reviews, triennials), providing screenings and evaluations for communication, feeding, and augmentative communication needs, and supporting students' functional communication in the school environment. This role offers a Journey Travel Program opportunity to work across the U.S. with a full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly titled area acceptable to ASHA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellow
- Licensed, certified or credentialed as required in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- ISBE Professional Educator License
- Clinical experience with pediatric population preferred
