Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per-Diem

Job Summary
Conduct home visits to evaluate patients referred for speech therapy services, determining appropriateness for care and establishing comprehensive home care plans. Provide rehabilitative services for speech and language disorders, including assessments for swallowing or cognitive deficits, while modifying treatment programs based on ongoing patient status and goals. Deliver patient education to develop progressive home programs for patients, families, and caregivers, and maintain accurate clinical progress notes documenting treatment and responses. Requires a valid New York State license, Master's degree or equivalent, and current driver's license. New graduates welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Therapy or a foreign degree equivalent as accepted by US Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent plus 2 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
- Valid New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with diverse individuals
- Basic computer skills
- Current Driver's License
