Job Summary
Conduct screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment for patients across various settings. Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in modifying plans of care based on evolving conditions and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient course, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations. Manage schedules effectively to meet productivity expectations and ensure frictionless patient access. Take initiative in pursuing continuing education and serve as a clinical instructor for students and new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ASHA (American Speech Language Hearing Association) Certificate of Clinical Competence
