Job Summary
Evaluate and treat students with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice issues. Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, write measurable objectives, and track student progress. Support students using AAC devices and strategies while participating in IEP meetings and team-based planning. Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain required documentation and adhere to school and state policies. Apply current best practices in speech-language pathology for pediatric populations. This school-based role serves middle and high school students in the Dallas, OR area, with weekly hours of 37.5.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility in progress)
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- School-based or pediatric experience
- Experience as a School-Based SLP: School based experience post grad or during clinical fieldwork
- Educator/Teacher Certification if required by the state
