Job Summary

Administer hearing or speech and language evaluations to students to assess impairments, then develop and implement treatment plans for issues like stuttering, delayed language, or articulation delays. Instruct students in effective communication techniques while consulting with educators on strategies and designing alternative diagnostic devices. Evaluate test results to diagnose disorders and write reports for IEP meetings, maintaining documentation of progress and billing records. Complete professional responsibilities including coordinating paperwork, scheduling case management activities, and participating in training to maintain licensing. Work full-time, 7.5 hours daily for five days, with structured mentorship available for Clinical Fellows.

Required Qualifications

  • Skill in communicating verbally and in writing with students, faculty members, and parents so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • State of California License in Speech Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellows must have completed their Master's Program and have everything ready to apply for their temporary license (mentorship available)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families
  • Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email
