Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities, then develop individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, phonology, fluency, and pragmatic skills. Provide direct therapy services to elementary students while collaborating with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support communication goals. Incorporate evidence-based techniques into sessions, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed. Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately. Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' needs. Work onsite in a school setting for the 26/27 school year with full-time hours.

Required Qualifications

  • MD SLP License
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current ASHA certification
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy
