Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities and develop individualized therapy plans based on results. Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills, while incorporating evidence-based techniques to promote development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support communication goals, participate in IEP meetings, and monitor progress to adjust plans as needed. Document sessions and progress reports accurately. Work onsite in Anchorage schools for the 26/27 school year, reporting to Sara.Pessman@electronic-therapy.com.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current ASHA certification
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
