Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, analyze data, and determine eligibility for services for K-12 students in a virtual environment. Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) with measurable goals and implement therapy through engaging, evidence-based activities delivered via synchronous and asynchronous methods. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and ARD committees to support student communication development, while providing consultation and training on strategies for the virtual setting. Monitor progress, adjust therapy to meet IEP goals, and maintain accurate records under state and federal regulations. Requires a Texas license, master's degree, and experience with teletherapy and Google Workspace.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing speech and language services to children and adolescents (K-12)
  • Familiarity with the IEP process and Texas special education regulations
  • Experience providing teletherapy or virtual speech and language services
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in an online setting
  • Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity
  • Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills
  • Residency in the state of Texas is required
  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • A valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or eligibility for licensure

Desired Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
