Job Summary
Evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and provides medically necessary speech therapy services addressing deficits in speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia. The Speech Language Pathologist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to, and effectively communicate with patients of all ages, evaluate assigned patients using diagnostic assessments, and develop individualized treatment programs. Responsibilities include direct therapy, documenting patient progress, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and participating in program development. An active license and certification are required, with preferred experience in relevant healthcare settings.
Required Qualifications
- CCC-SLP - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or presently active in a supervised clinical fellowship year and certification received within one year of employment upon hire
- Speech-Language Pathologist - Licensing Board
- An active license in the state of practice upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years Speech Language Pathologist experience in a hospital, SNF, outpatient and/or home health setting
