Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supervises the Communication Disorders Service Department, evaluates patients and provides therapy as ordered by physicians, and establishes treatment goals approved by the physician. This role includes participating in in-service training programs for HomeCare personnel and requires strong communication and clinical skills to address speech and language disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or its equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed in the state or states of practice
