Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supervises therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral myofunctional disorders. Responsibilities include directing the Communication Disorders Service Department, providing evaluations and therapy, planning and carrying out therapy programs, and participating in in-service training programs for HomeCare personnel. Candidates must possess a master's degree in Speech Pathology, relevant certification, and state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed in the state or states in which he/she will work
