Job Summary
Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload and document, monitor, analyze, and report students' progress regularly in conjunction with school deadlines. Conduct educationally relevant evaluations, write therapy goals within Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs), and report findings in family-friendly language during IEP and ETR meetings. Maintain documentation of therapy minutes, complete necessary Medicaid billing, and collaborate with school personnel and families to support a positive learning culture. Requires Master's degree, Ohio licensure, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology
- Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio
- Valid Driver's license
- Must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding the English language
- Pass an FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
- Current Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
- Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body
- Positive and goal oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices
- Must be able to handle stressful situations
- Compatible with company culture and core values
