Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct rehabilitation in speech therapy to patients referred by physicians within Life Care standards. The role requires MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or eligibility for CFY to earn CCCs, and active state licensure. Responsibilities include establishing and adjusting measurable therapy goals, implementing treatment plans under supervision when CFY is in progress, documenting appropriately, communicating with patients and an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring patient rights, safety, and confidentiality. The position supports professional development, patient-centered care, and compliance with federal/state guidelines, with an emphasis on clinical fellowship progression for SLP CFYs and ongoing adherence to policies and code of conduct. The work is performed in a post-acute care setting in Globe, AZ, on-site. The salary reflects a full-time hourly rate of $55–$57, annualized to $114,400–$118,560, with standard benefits including 401(k) match, vacation, holidays, personal day, sick leave, life insurance, disability, and health coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to follow policies and maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism per Life Care Code of Conduct
