Job Summary
Direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients as prescribed by physicians. Requires MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure; CPR certification is required. Responsibilities include establishing, assessing, and modifying goals; charting and documentation; using therapy software; collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams; ensuring patient rights, safety, and confidentiality; adherence to company policies and Code of Conduct. SLP CFYs may be overseen by CCCs; involvement in community health projects and ongoing compliance training are expected. Must demonstrate independent judgment, professionalism, and dependable attendance. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email is required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for 9 month CFY to earn CCCs
- State license active and in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
