Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary
Direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards. Requires MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, current state licensure, CPR certification, and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include establishing and adjusting functional goals, charting and using therapy software, providing patient- and family-centered care, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality, and adhering to company policies and compliance training. SLP CFYs may follow treatment plans under supervision; role involves communication with patients, families, and other departments, and supporting post-acute care objectives. Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and dependability in a post-acute care setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCCs) OR must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn ASHA CCCs
- Must be currently registered/licensed in applicable State and maintain active license
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and maintained during employment
- 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
