Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary
Direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. Participate in community health matters/projects; proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/email; liaison with patients, families, and departments to plan patient needs; adhere to policies and compliance training; chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software; provide excellent customer service and support in an interdisciplinary team; assist in patient evacuation; maintain attendance and confidentiality; include CFY/CCC oversight for SLPs and CFYs as applicable; ensure treatment plans are followed under supervision; maintain professional relationships and comply with company code of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCCs OR eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn ASHA CCCs
- Current state licensure or license in good standing
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation) and current during employment
