Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients upon physician referral in a Life Care setting. Requires MS/MA in Speech Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure. Responsibilities include establishing measurable goals, charting, using therapy software, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to policies, patient rights and safety, confidentiality, and contributing to community health initiatives. Demonstrates independent decision-making, professional conduct, and strong customer service toward patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn ASHA CCCs
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current
