Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with Life Care standards; requires MS/MA SLP, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, CPR certification; participates in interdisciplinary care, utilizes therapy software, and maintains professional conduct; requires proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and compliant with post-acute care facility guidelines; role involves establishing/adjusting functional goals, charting timely, and collaborating with care teams within SNF settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
- ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn CCCs
- State license active and in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
