Job Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include establishing, assessing, and modifying functional goals; supervising and evaluating care for CFYs (SLP CFYs) when applicable; following treatment plans under supervision; charting appropriately and timely; utilizing therapy software; delivering excellent customer service; coordinating with an interdisciplinary team; maintaining patient rights and safety; ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies; and supporting duties related to post-acute care within Life Care Centers of America facilities. Eligible candidates hold an MS/MA in speech therapy, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and an active state license, with new grads welcome and one year of experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
  • ASHA certified (CCC) OR must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to earn ASHA certification
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • Must maintain active license in good standing
  • One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; CPR certification must remain current
