Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in a Life Care Centers of America facility setting, collaborating with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life. Responsibilities include establishing and modifying functional goals, following treatment plans (including CFY supervision for CFYs when applicable), charting appropriately, utilizing therapy software, and maintaining patient rights, safety, and confidentiality. Requires ASHA credentialing criteria and active licensure, with CSTP/SOP adherence, professional integrity, and ongoing participation in mandatory compliance and training; new grads are welcome to apply and may pursue CFY or CCCs as part of credentialing progression.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCCs or eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing
- CPR certification current or obtained during orientation
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; clear communication skills
- Ability to work in post-acute care facility setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
