Job Summary
Conduct clinical assessments using standardized tests and patient interviews to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals to address specific patient needs. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, fluency, and swallowing abilities. Educate patients and families on disorder nature, therapy techniques, and daily life strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans per facility policies. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requires current state SLP licensure and CCC-SLP certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 0-1 years
- current, valid state SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Current valid CPR certification
- preferred or required
