Job Summary
Provide home-based speech therapy to patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties due to illness or injury. Conduct patient assessments, document progress, and ensure goals are met while assisting with exercises for fluency, articulation, and reading. Work within a home health team including RNs, LPNs, and OTs to support the patient's plan of care. Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safety practices, and self-care. Maintain a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology, an active Colorado license, and one year of speech therapy experience. Hold current CPR certification and pass background checks and drug tests. Submit applications through the Interim HealthCare Careers page on a rolling basis until September 30, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Colorado
- Minimum of one (1) year of speech therapy experience
- CPR Certification
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
