Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment. Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in modifying plans of care based on evolving patient conditions and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete discharge planning and accurately document patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily notes, and progress summaries. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and take initiative in pursuing continuing education. Serve as a clinical instructor for students and assist with orienting new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
