Job Summary
Deliver in-home speech therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in the community, evaluating communication, cognition, and swallowing to develop individualized treatment goals and implementing rehab programs. Educate patients and families on recovery plans, maintain accurate Medicare/agency documentation, and travel to patients' homes with autonomy over scheduling. Requires SLP-CCC license, BLS CPR, reliable transportation, and comfort with EMR/technology; compensation features per-visit with mileage reimbursement and supportive clinical/administrative infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Therapist (SLP-CCC) license in good standing
- BLS CPR certification
- Reliable transportation to see patients in their homes
- Basic comfort with technology - email, texting, EMR systems (training provided)
