Job Summary
Evaluate patients' speech and language difficulties to determine therapy needs, then teach sound production, voice improvement, and alternative communication methods like sign language. Educate healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress between sessions, while documenting clinical notes and visit documentation per agency policy. This PRN role in Fayette, AL covers Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa, offering flexible scheduling and independent work with team support. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
