Job Summary
Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in home settings, including single-family homes, assisted living, and memory care. Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative communication. Manage cases involving stroke survivors and individuals with progressive diseases such as Parkinson's disease and dementia. Work under the care of an attending physician. Maintain a valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation in good working condition. Must wear seat belts at all times and drive safely in all weather conditions. Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.
