Job Summary
As a PRN Home Health Speech Language Pathologist at Empath Home Health, you will provide individualized care and treatment to patients in their homes, focusing on improving sensory-motor development, perception, memory, language, and cognition. Key responsibilities include performing assessments, developing plans of care in consultation with physicians and other care team members, and instructing patients and families on nutrition and communication strategies. Candidates must be graduates from accredited programs and possess an active Florida SLP license.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved/accredited college program that meets the educational requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association
- Active Florida SLP license
Desired Qualifications
- Home health care experience preferred
- Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR is a plus
