Job Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Elara Caring, you will evaluate patients to determine rehabilitation needs and develop care plans accordingly. Responsibilities include initial assessments, follow-up evaluations, and initiating patient safety plans. You will communicate significant findings to supervisors and other team members, implement and revise plans of care, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely. This role requires a Master’s degree in Language Pathology, a current SLP license, and at least one year of clinical experience. You will also need to travel within the coverage area and must be able to handle physical demands such as lifting and pushing patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited educational program in Language Pathology
- Current, unrestricted SLP license in the state of work
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a SLP in a clinical care setting
- Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
- Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance in accordance with state laws
- Must be able and willing to travel 50%
