Job Summary
Communicate with patients to evaluate speech or language difficulties, determine therapy needs, and teach sound production, voice improvement, and alternative communication methods like sign language. Educate healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises to support progress outside direct sessions, while documenting clinical notes and visit submissions per agency policy. Provide one-on-one care in a home setting with flexible PRN scheduling, offering medical, dental, and vision insurance alongside tuition reimbursement and generous PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- A minimum of one (1) year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
