Job Summary
Per diem home health Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing evaluations and therapy for adults and geriatric patients in home settings across Greensboro, NC. Responsibilities include making home visits, conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties; developing and updating treatment plans; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; educating patients and families; accurate documentation via EMR; and adhering to care plans and infection prevention protocols. Requires NC SLP license; ASHA CCC or equivalent qualifications with related supervised experience; prior EMR experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC) or equivalent educational qualifications and work experience for certification, and be awaiting opportunity to take the ASHA examination, or have completed the required work and education for certification.
