Job Summary
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Encompass Health (Home Based), you will evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language treatment plans for patients with communication needs across a home-based/post-acute care setting. You will identify issues, modify therapy as needed, track and document patient performance and progress, and celebrate patient victories while leveraging cutting-edge technology in a nationally recognized rehabilitation company. Qualifications include state licensure or certification, CCC certification, CPR within 30 days of hire, and a Master’s degree (preferred) orBachelor’s with field experience. The role emphasizes individualized patient care, documentation of outcomes, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive, inclusive, and nationwide organization.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
