Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Home Based

Job Summary
Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech-language rehabilitation plans for patients with speech and language needs. Identify issues and modify therapy as necessary. Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Deliver compassionate care as part of Encompass Health’s national rehabilitation team, supporting patient communication and quality of life in a home-based setting. CCC-SLP credential and state licensure are required, CPR within 30 days, with Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience); engaged in ongoing professional growth and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CCC-SLP Certification
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or certification
- CPR certification (or able to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Experience or ability to practice in home-based/home-care settings
- Strong documentation and progress-tracking skills
- Familiarity with speech-language rehabilitation protocols and patient-centered treatment planning
- Ability to evaluate and develop personalized treatment plans
- Commitment to patient progress and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
