Job Summary
Speech Pathologist responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs; identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; delivering care to patients in a home-based/inpatient rehabilitation context within Encompass Health’s network. Qualifications require current state licensure/certification, CCC certification, CPR (within 30 days if not already licensed), and a Master’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s with field experience).
