Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing home-based therapy to patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. Responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans; identifying issues and modifying therapy as needed; and tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. Qualifications include state licensure/certification, CCC, CPR (within 30 days), and a Master’s degree preferred (or a Bachelor’s with field experience). The role is positioned within Encompass Health’s nationwide rehabilitation network and supports both full-time and part-time schedules located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience
