Job Summary
Speech Pathologist role focused on evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech and language rehabilitation treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities include identifying issues, modifying therapy as needed, and tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment. The position operates within Encompass Health’s inpatient rehabilitation environment, supporting patient-centered care and utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve positive communication outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
