Job Summary
Deliver speech and language rehabilitation services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation needs; identify issues, modify therapy as needed, and track patient progress and response to treatment. Requires current licensure or certification, CCC, CPR (or within 30 days), and typically a Masters degree (or Bachelors with relevant experience); Encompass Health emphasizes compassionate care and collaborative team support.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Masters degree preferred, or Bachelors degree with field experience
